There's no hiding place at the Rosenheim Final Patrick Lucas finishing his 800m in the Rosenheim Final at Tooting - an impressive time and a new PB of 2:03.71 Richmond Baah in the Javelin at Tooting's Rosenheim Final. He finished 1st with a clear win of 54.09m Scott Fanner taking off in the 400m scoring race at Tooting - Rosenheim Final. Finished 4th in 2:06.83 Alan Burn in the 1500m Rosenheim Final who finished 7th in 4:44.81 Richmond Baah led the way with a season's best of 54.09m in the javelin to take the spoils against tough opposition. Elsewhere Oweka Wanogho excelled to a new lifetime best in the 100m with a 10.83secs clocking for 2nd, a result which puts him 10th in the U20 UK rankings. The 18 year-old backing this up with a 3rd in the 200m in 22.00secs. Sheldon Brown was also a runner-up in the triple jump with a 13.03m jump, while Scott Fanner doubled up in the 400m (56.0secs, 4th) and 800m (2:06.83, 4th). There were also good scoring showings from Alan Burn (1500m, 7th), Nic Gould (3000m, 6th), Jaran Finn (2km SC, 7th) and Andy Del Nevo (high jump, 5th). And it was left to the 4x200m relay team of Scott Fanner, Kennoy Lindsay, Darren Wollen and Clarence Riley to bring the curtain down on the season, finishing 5th in 1.38.24. The result is particularly pleasing as we were well in the mix in all of the events, with most of the opposition of British League standard. 1 BELGRAVE 88 2 HERNE HILL(Holders) 74 3 KINGSTON & POLYTECHNIC 69 4 CROYDON HARRIERS 56 5 HERCULES WIMBLEDON 44 6 SERPENTINE 34 7 ST MARYS RICHMOND 22 8 WALTON 19 Non-scoring support came from Colin Oxlade (2km SC, 7.45.17), Darren Wollen (100m, 11.35secs), Kennoy Lindsay (200m, 25.26secs), Patrick Lucas (800m, 2.03.71 PB), Clarence Riley (100m, 12.37secs) and Jack Thoroughgood (800m, 2:10). | |
